About Us
Cape CrossFit is a school of performance based fitness located in Gardens, Cape Town. We offer group classes using the CrossFit method, which includes kettlebell training, olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, gymnastics, dummbbell and medicine ball training as well as running, rowing, etc. Classes include technique practice of these movements as well as (relatively) intense conditioning workouts. Our students are very diverse in their conditioning, experience, and lives - they include business executives, stay-at-home moms, writers and top level athletes.
We utilize CrossFit as our primary training method, and help our students in improving their competence in each of the 10 recognized physical skills (Cardiorespiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.) The stimulus provided is always varied and the results are dramatic. But Cape CrossFit is more than that: It is a mindset, a way of life, which unites a great community full of people determined to making health and fitness a big priority in their lives. The atmosphere is one of camaraderie and support to anyone willing to put in the work.
