As quickly as you can, lift a total of 2,000kg (1,000kg for women) overhead "anyhow". Pick the weight on the bar and perform as many repetitions as needed, for example:
- 100kg (20 repetitions) or
- 80kg (25 repetitions) or
- 50kg (40 repetitions) or
- 40kg (50 repetitions), etc.

Roland and Jobst did not hesitate when asked to provide a free training session for the boys at Margaret’s House. Taking the boys through a Saturday morning session, I was impressed with their interaction and encouragement. They taught the correct way to do squats, push ups, box jumping and ‘kettle-bell’ swinging. Without bombarding the boys with too much information, the value of exercising was brought across. After some fast paced sessions incorporating all four exercises, everyone realised how just a little activity each day can make such a difference. The session was enjoyable and encouraging to the boys and I hope they will be back to teach some more. |
I just concluded my travels to CrossFit Mecca this past week end. Overall I made two trips and traveled a total of about 13 weeks, attending seminars, visiting other CrossFit gyms and judging at the CrossFit Games 2009.
