Chris Oman is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and also holds a Westside Barbell specialty certification. At age 20, Chris already ran his own business, training celebrities and "averages Joes" with equal passion all day long which made him one of the most sought after coaches in Sweden. Chris passion for CrossFit is evident since he sees it as the perfect way of helping people live healthier, stronger and fitter lives. Or as he likes to put it, "Save the world, one person at the time."
Chris has always lived an active lifestyle. With an athletic background from the Swedish Soccer League mixed with a hunger for always playing and learning new sports and a competitive spirit, CrossFit competitions have been the natural step for him. With only a little more than 2 years of "real" CrossFit experience, Chris has already participated in several competitions, two times at the Swedish Nationals and as a 3rd place finisher at the CrossFit Games African Regionals in June 2011. Chris also coached and participated in the Cape CrossFit Team that competed in the 2011 CrossFit Games in Los Angeles.
The fact that what we do in the gym should improve our lives outside of it just as much is a strong motivator for Chris. He often spends time climbing and hiking the mountains around Cape Town or just playing around with different gymnastic drills on the beach whenever the sun is shining.
Chris has a firm belief that everybody can do CrossFit, no matter what physical background they come from, which is why he feels grateful for the fact that he gets to coach all type of athletes at CCF. From the Basics Course for beginners to the Advanced Classes for more experienced athletes, he loves the challenge of teaching everybody something new every day and at the same time develop his own coaching skills at the same rate!

Lynda Piper-Roche is a CrossFit Level I trainer, holds a degree in Nutritional Therapy and is one
of the top female CrossFit coaches and athletes in Africa. From a young age, Lynda and her twin sister Julie, excelled at many sports and were particularly competitive against each other. With a love for many sports, Lynda has trained in many sports from badminton, soccer, pole fitness to cross country running and won numerous school, club and national track & field, tennis and basketball medals.
Lynda studied Nutritional Therapy with a career path of health and fitness in mind. Once she moved from Ireland to Cape Town, getting started with CrossFit and rival her twin sister (also a CrossFit Level 1 trainer) in Ireland was the next logical step. Her passion for fitness, health and nutrition has grown even more ever since and her natural desire to always improve and learn more ensures that she becomes a better coach and person every day.
Aside from constantly looking to help people improve their health and fitness, Lynda is a very competitive athlete herself. She placed 4th in the Fittest in Cape Town individual competition in 2011 and in June 2011, only 11 months after she started with CrossFit, she was part of the Cape CrossFit team that won the 2011 CrossFit Games Africa Regionals, a feat that she plans to repeat in 2012.
