CCF Kids & Teens Program is growing - NEW "Weightlifting & Skills"-classes for Teens!

The Cape CrossFit Kids program has grown massively in 2018, and in 2019 Coach Sasha is looking forward to making more kids than ever before become fitter & healthier through the most efficient "physical education" program out there!

We run two different program at CCF, depending on the kids age and development, and we are now adding another more "competitive" dimension to the CCF Teens program, but first lets check out what the different groups do:

"CCF Kids" (approx age 5-12)

This is where we teach our younger ones the correct ways of moving themselves and some light objects such as dumbells, medicine balls, PVC pipes etc - all while we also have a lot of FUN with Games created to have the kids moving while learning!

Our CCF Kids have some big goals for 2019! 

SCHEDULE CCF KIDS:

  • Tuesdays, 16.00.
  • Thursdays, 16.00
  • Saturdays, 08.00 (Beach WOD in Camps Bay during summer season).

FEES CCF KIDS:

  • 10 Session Card, R850
  • Monthly Training,  First kid is R600 and then R450 per kids from the same family 
    (via Debit Order, up to 3 classes per week).

NB: Parents that are CCF Members gets a 10% Family Discount on the above fees!

"CCF Teens" (approx age 13-17)

Here the program is more like our regular classes, but we do however take the younger athletes needs in consideration. Movement Quality is if possible even more important than in our regular classes and our coaches are 100% in charge of when an athlete is allowed to put weight on the bar etc. We progress the young athletes slowly while making sure these classes are always filled with FUN workouts and our focus is to "learn something new every day!".

This is a perfect program for any teens that want to use CrossFit as a supplement to other sports as an example!

SCHEDULE CCF TEENS:

  • Tuesdays, 15.00
  • Thursdays, 17.00
  • Saturdays, 08.00 (Beach WOD in Camps Bay during summer season with Adults).

FEES CCF KIDS:

  • 10 Session Card, R850
  • Monthly Training, First kid is R600 and then R450 per kids from the same family
    (via Debit Order, up to 3 classes per week).

*** NEW *** "CCF Teen Weightlifting & Skills" (approx age 13-17)

This is the new addition to our kids progam for 2019! It is based on popular request from some of our Teen athletes that have chosen CrossFit as their sport!

These classes are designed to focus on the further develop basics of Strength Training, Olympic Weightlifting & Gymnastics on a level that can assist these young athletes if they choose to compete in the Sport of Fitness. We truly want to help these athletes build the stability and technique needed to last in our sport for ever.
The classes are run by our two most experienced coaches: Coach Chris & Coach Justin with the intention to help develop some of the best young athletes out there.

PS. Our regular Teens classes contains weightlifting & skill development as well, so if 2-3 sessions per week is the right level for your kids that too will develop their capacity tremendously!

SCHEDULE CCF TEENS WEIGHTLIFTING AND SKILLS CLASSES:

  • Mondays, 15.00
  • Wednesdays, 15.00

FEES CCF TEENS:

For these classes we require the Teens to have a regular adult CCF Membership but they do also receive the standard CCF 20% Student Discount!

We always offer your kids to do a free class first to ensure that they enjoy the training before committing to anything. We also don't have any commitment periods on the Monthly memberships, but simply run a 30 days cancellation period from day 1. This is because we never want to put pressure on the kids that they "have to train", but instead we want to create a healthy relationship to fitness & health by creating a space where these young human beings wants to be!
