Why I love CrossFit - by Coach Mike11 August 2013
When most most ninjas come across this question there's always that immediate thought that pops up and we think THAT'S WHY I LOVE CROSSFIT! I was just the same, but...
[5 minutes later]
I ended up lost for words and thinking over the past five minutes my topic for this article has changed about three times since i started.
Then it hit me, I love CrossFit because I'm constantly learning. Every time I climb those stairs and walk through those old wooden, handleless doors i know I'm going to learn something I never had a clue about before entering. Big or small, I always learn something new.
This is why I'm addicted, every time Im in the box I learn something new, I learn how to make people move better, how to make them live better through better physical preparedness and conditioning. I've learnt how people become addicted to PB's and hard workouts , to that feeling after achieving a goal or realizing an improvement in an aspect of there life through CrossFit.
But, I also get to witness and learn the amazing transformations that happen in the walls of Cape CrossFit. Be it rapid weight loss or how one person can go from a heavily assisted pull-up to stringing their first few kipping chest-to-bar pull-ups together with ease.
Now getting to the point...(finally).. I constantly learn new things as mentioned yes, but one thing I "relearn" every single day is that...(drumroll)...Nothing is impossible! Yes, I said it and I'll stand by it. Nothing is impossible when it comes to CrossFit and its benefits the only thing between you and what you perceive is impossible ,is the fact that you currently think its impossible and the amount of effort your willing to dedicate to proving it possible.
In ending, I love CrossFit because it constantly teaches me that nothing is impossible anymore.
Ps- Unfortunately it hasn't taught me much about writing articles ...but i knew it wasn't impossible ;)
