The CCF Nutrition Challenges are infamous for creating some amazing results in a fairly short time, but more importantly than that help create a lifestyle that last a lifetime - and this time around you can win prizes from one of the biggest prize pool we've put together so far!

Charvan was the overall winner in our last CCF Nutrition Challenge back in November 2019 - and he's still pushing hard in the box almost every day looking stronger than ever!

CHALLENGE DETAILS

  • WHAT: 8 Weeks to improve your Body Composition as much as possible, while creating a Healthy Eating Habit based Lifestyle.
  • START: Official Start date is 8th of February, but we are offering "early bird measurements" from Monday the 3rd of November.
  • FINISH: 4th of April (final measurements must be done before then).
  • ENTRY FEE: R400 per person (cash only).
  • WHAT DO YOU GET EXCEPT THE CHANCE TO WIN SOME BIG PRIZES:

  • TUESDAY 4th of February, NEWLANDS:
    14.00-18.00.

    If you can't make any of the times offered in your CCF Box we recommend you to come to any of the other ones, OR wait until Saturday.

The inBody Measurements

We've equipped ourselves with one of these inBody Machines to give the most accurate and least invasive measurements possible for this challenge. We'll charge R200 per measurement for any CCF member wanting to get a measurement session done outside of the Challenge, but in the challenge we are offering you up to 3(!) for FREE as per the below schedule.

The inBody measurements aren't only very accurate, but also gives you a cool body composition profile to compare with in the future!


This time the Nutrition Challenge Winners will solely be based on best Body Composition improvement = biggest change in body fat%.

Like everything at Cape CrossFit we like doing things like a community, with support from the other participants it becomes easier to reach your own goals!

SO HOW DO I WIN?

The challenge is "easy" to take part in from your side: you show up for one of the Open Measurement slots below, get the CCF Nutrition Guide sent to you, and choose YOUR way of eating*. You then train hard and follow the directions from your preferred eating style and also implement the Weekly Habits as much as you can.
Perhaps you may or you may stand on the top of the podium at the end of these 8 weeks by but following the above we are positive you will be amazed with the great results you see - both in the gym and in the mirror!

THE DIFFERENT EATING PLANS WE RECOMMEND ARE:
Some of these can be combined for great results.

  • "THE CROSSFIT NUTRITION" - eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch & NO SUGAR.
  • ZONE - use a smart system to count your different macro nutrients in "blocks".
  • COUNTING MACROS - similar like above but you weigh and measure your food to ensure you eat the exact right amount each day.
  • KETO - VERY Low Carb Diet that can be very efficient in terms of weight loss. Mainly recommended those aiming for a big weight loss and not for those that are aiming for high volume training.
  • INTERMITTENT FASTING - Eat all your food within a certain window to create a great hormonal response. (8 hours of eating and 16 hours of fasting each day seems to be the most common way).
    All of these are further explained in the CCF Nutrition Guide.
